All programme team members undergo police vetting and background checks and receive regular training including first aid training.

Our adult to child ratio is risk assessed to ensure we provide a safe and supportive environment for all. This means our ratio can sometimes vary between sites depending on the venue location

On trip days out in the community, the ratio may vary depending on the activity and environment, typically ranging from 1:6 to 1:10

If your child has allergies, please provide detailed information under your child’s profile during enrolment and any required medication. sKids programme team members are trained to manage allergies and will take necessary precautions to ensure your child’s safety

In the event of a medical emergency, the programme team will follow the emergency procedures and contact you immediately. They are trained to handle various situations and ensure your child’s safety.

sKids programme team members are trained on how to support positive behaviour at programme and how to provide an enriching and appropriate environment to suit the children’s needs and interests. sKids also work with the schools in aligning our approach for consistency.

Supporting Positive Behaviour Plans can be implemented which involve the child, parent/caregiver and sKids Programme Manager. This team effort ensures that the child receives the necessary support and guidance to thrive in the programme
